Shot blasting can be used to remove debris and flaws from concrete, metal, and other industrial surfaces. Despite their similarities, shot blasting and sandblasting are not the same in terms of execution or effectiveness.

Steel shot and other media are swiftly propelled onto a surface during the shot blasting process by a centrifugal blast wheel. This clears the surface of debris and other items. The shot media, which may comprise steel shot, chopped wire, and nut shells, are loaded into a hopper and fed into the blast wheel. The medium has the ability to “blast” off almost anything, including rust and epoxy.
