Our Story

Orient MetaCorp Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2003 as Orient Auto Pressing in Pune, Maharashtra, supplying forged components to the regional automotive component industry on a labour-charge basis.

In 2018, second-generation leadership took over operations, beginning a multi-year transformation. Raw material procurement was brought in-house, enabling complete control over material chemistry and traceability. Normalising and heat treatment capability was added. Eight CNC machines were progressively installed to bring machining in-house. A dedicated hardening and tempering line is now in commissioning.

Today, Orient MetaCorp operates as a fully vertically integrated forged and machined component manufacturer. Our parts, supplied through tier-1 partner networks, reach component manufacturers and OEMs in India, North America, and Europe.

A new 55,000 sq. ft. dedicated manufacturing unit in Chakan, currently commissioning, marks the next phase of our growth — IATF 16949 certification, direct supply to global tier-1 customers, and expansion of serial production capacity to support both existing and new customer commitments.

Quality is built into our processes, not inspected at the end. Our approach is rooted in five operating principles applied across every shift, every batch, every shipment.

Customer Specifications First
Every part is manufactured to the customer's drawing and specification, with formal sample approval before serial production begins. Special characteristics are tracked under 100% inspection. PPAP documentation is supported on customer request.

Verified Material Conformance
Every batch of incoming raw material is verified against the customer-specified grade through mill test certificates and, with the new spectrometer commissioning, in-house OES chemical analysis.

Process Control & Traceability
Forging temperature, tonnage, heat treatment cycles, and machining parameters are documented and recorded against each batch. Full material and process traceability is maintained from raw material lot to dispatched component.

Continuous Improvement
Process capability is reviewed quarterly. Customer feedback, internal rejection data, and process audit findings drive systematic improvement. Our IATF 16949 implementation underway reflects this commitment

Operators are trained and certified for the processes they operate. Shop floor visual management ensures every team member knows the day's targets, current status, and quality requirements.
